Have you ever stopped to think about the sheer privilege of prayer? That right now, at any moment, you can speak directly to the Creator of the universe? 

That is what prayer is after all. After God initiates conversation through his word (scripture), transforming our thoughts about who God is we take the time to speak back to him through what is called prayer. Prayer is the gift of intimate access to God, transforming, sustaining, and aligning us with His purposes.
