How it all started...
That is how every movement of God should start right? The LORD spoke clearly and intimately to three families in 2021 along with over ten individuals to confirm the call to plant in Americus, GA.
The Well Church was sent out in 2022 by Greenbriar Church in Albany to make disciples that make disciples.
Since August of 2022 The Well Church has been inviting neighbors and the city to dinners, bible studies, and local events.

Church is more than an Sunday morning event.

We were sent out from a healthy church in Albany GA!
We can't produce the fruit of discipleship but we are responsible for our faithfulness to Jesus.
The call to plant the gospel and make disciples in Americus has been confirmed by many, including 15 churches who currently support the plant financially and relationally.

We are disciples that make disciples, by planting churches!
The Well Church is part of a larger family of church planting churches. We believe the mission Jesus gave His Church is bigger than any one local church. Because of that, we want to be a church that not only grows here but also gives, develops leaders, sends planters, and helps plant healthy churches in other communities.
The Well partners nationally with the Send Network (SBC) and globally with Acts 29, two church planting networks committed to helping churches identify, train, assess, send, and support church planters. These partnerships provide The Well with relationships, resources, training, accountability, and opportunities to participate in church planting beyond Americus.
Regionally, we also participate in the Evergreen Collective, working alongside other churches to encourage pastors, develop leaders, and see healthy churches planted throughout our region.
We have been helped by other churches, and we want to do the same for others. Our desire is to become a church that continually develops leaders, sends people, gives generously, and plants churches so that more people in more places can meet Jesus and become His disciples.
We don't just want to grow one church. We want to help plant many.
