Ruth 4:1-22

Naomi holds Obed in her arms, and for the first time in years, there is rest for her soul. Not because every earthly problem disappeared, but because redemption had been secured.

If Naomi could lay down her bitterness and rest in the temporary redemption provided through a son who would one day die, how much more can we rest in the eternal redemption secured through the Son of God who died and rose again and will never die again?

Church, God has not left His people without a Redeemer.
