Gospel Fluency
May 31, 2026 • John Schroeder
The Church is not an event people attend on Sundays. Through Jesus, God is creating a new people with a new identity, a new hope, and a new way of life. The Bible calls the Church holy, meaning set apart unto God. Like every culture, the Kingdom of God has a language. That language is Gospel Fluency.
When we say “language,” we do not mean learning religious phrases or Christian clichés. We mean becoming so immersed in the presence of Jesus, the Word of God, the Spirit of God, and the people of God that the gospel naturally shapes the way we think, speak, feel, suffer, repent, rejoice, and love others.
The gospel is the good news that through Jesus’ life, death, resurrection, and reign, sinners can be forgiven, made new, and restored to God.
