Acts 3:11-4:4
Big Idea: God glorified the Jesus we rejected and now graciously calls us to turn to Him for forgiveness, refreshing, and life.
Peter and John told the crowd, "Don't look at us. Look at Jesus."
The power isn't ours. The glory isn't ours. The church isn't ours. The mission isn't ours. Jesus is alive. He is advancing. And we are His witnesses.
So the question Peter's sermon leaves before us is the same question we began with: What have you done with Jesus?
God has made His answer clear. God glorified Him. God raised Him. God appointed Him. God has received Him into heaven. God will send Him again. The question now is ours. Will you continue resisting Him or will you turn to Jesus?
The One we rejected still offers forgiveness. The One we ran from still offers His presence. The One our sin put on the cross walked out of the grave. And the Author of Life is still calling sinners to life.
"Repent therefore, and turn back, that your sins may be blotted out, that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord."
