Galatians 5:16-26

Paul, in verses 16-25, continues his thought from the previous verses, “For freedom, Christ has set us free.”  “Do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.” But if we are honest, this is not an easy task. The church is a messy people all using their freedom to love, serve, and lay down their lives for one another. This seems to be an impossible task. How do we intentionally live in our freedom and be fruitful instead of gratifying the desires of the flesh? Answer: We focus and become satisfied in God— we walk by the Spirit.
