Galatians 2:11-21

Martin Luther once said, "The sin underneath all our sin is the lie that we cannot trust the love and grace of Jesus and that we must take matters into our own hands."
That quote captures the heart of Galatians 2:11–21—and the heart of what went wrong with Peter. He didn’t stop believing in Jesus. He didn’t stop calling himself a Christian. But in a moment of pressure, fear took over. And when fear leads, grace fades. Peter acted like Jesus wasn’t enough—and that something else was needed to be right with God and with others.
